Diversity Down Under: An Australian and New Zealand Perspective/A Diversité aux Antipodes: Perspectives Australiennes et Néo-Zélandaises
Both Australia
and New Zealand have found success in recruiting a diverse range of
international students to their campuses but have found it quite
challenging to get their own domestic students to study abroad for
a semester or year during the course of their undergraduate degree
programs. The successes and challenges in both international
recruiting and study abroad/exchange development for domestic
students are showcased in this presentation.
L'Australie et la
Nouvelle-Zélande ont trouvé la clé du succès en recrutant une gamme
variée d'étudiants internationaux pour leurs campus, mais c'est
tout un défi que de convaincre leur propres étudiants d'aller
étudier à l'étranger pour un semestre ou un an dans le cadre de
leurs programmes d'études préparatoires au baccalauréat. Les
discussions porteront sur les succès et les défis, tant en
recrutement international qu'en développement d'études à l'étranger
ou d'échanges pour les étudiants locaux.
